The pheasant was terrined. Cold, tender and only slightly gamey.
It was accompanied by 3 things :
– A crumble, with celery ice cream (delicate but fragrant)
– A mousse of beetroot and olive oil (unctuous, fruity and deeply flavoured)
– A cream of foie-gras
It was beautiful.
There was a lentil side dish topped with sultanas and sour cream. Zesty.
Also potatoes with walnut praline scattered over it. Was cold and…not very appetising.
Sumisha had the salmon.
Leyshani who had a terrible earache, had crab.
Father had beef (cooked well done)
